UTILIZATION
Delay: 1 knob Dry / Wet, another for the REGEN (Repeats), a third call Delay (in fact the delay time) and a last name Level (Name that has absolutely nothing to do with its function Tone Delay (selects the cutoff frequency of filter delay)) however I found that the volume pot Dry / Wet did not respond very well. the delay is always present even if it is almost closed. but with a little patience we eventually get there. Chorus: 1 knob filter high frequency filter and another for low (not common to my knowledge) other 3 are respectively the level (output level of effect) the Rate and Depth. Nothing to say everything works great. I am very satisfied. Fact interested in the manual, it says Stereo Chorus, which has nothing to do because everything runs on Mono this pedal. Distortion: 1 knob Level (Volume) another distortion, and three EQ (Hi-Low-Mid) followed by a final dedicated to setting the frequency of the average EQ frequency. Nothing to say as well, it works very well. Tube Overdrive: Drive a volume pot, 1 tone and 1 Level (Volume). also has a mini switch to select mode Hot / Turbo. it also works very well. Tone is the Knob however inefficient. the blue LEDs are highly visible in the dark and it looks!
SOUND QUALITY
Delay: Delay Analog Style (high cutoff frequency) is doing its job, nothing more. analog-style, so it can not ask him to reproduce the incoming sound accurately. not a sound I would describe as very hot but it does what you request, nothing more. It sounds dark. This delay is more for dépanner.fastidieux setting for an average result. there is no match for one of Line 6 DL4. without merit the trash. Chorus: Sounds hot! Analogous to wish, I love this chorus! I have a CE-2 Boss in Japanese and I can tell he approaches oddly (but come anyway!). while this parameter very well and easily. the presence of filters is also more non-negligible possibility that pushes the creative. is well thought out. However, the vibrato effect is not great. Distortion: Distortion is a very rock / metal and heavy. EQ is a parametric Mid and charm is happiness. there are much better elsewhere, but this distortion that defends well. it is still easy to find classical sounds. I am not a professional guitarist and this opinion is not the absolute truth. each with its standards and tastes. in my case, I consider that this pedal offers much what we expected of it without breaking the house down. it must be said that more or moins150 euro, we should expect the mid / low range for a product like this one. but make no mistake-no, the beast seems very good: a chassis solidity copy of the firm and smooth knobs, it exudes quality.
