Published on 10/20/03 at 15:00I bought this from musicians friend for about $300. I got it because I just wanted a whole bunch of effects for a cheaper price than buying a lot of individual effects.
I really like the fact that this multi-effects unit makes almost no noise. All the effects are really good, some aren't as good as the individual Boss pedal... but for $300 you can't beat all these effects. The reverbs are really good. I don't much fancy the expression pedal effects, they're rather weak. There is a large selection of delays to choose from, and the selection of distortions is awesome. I haven't really taken it anywhere to find out how tough it is, but I've dropped it from a standing position and it's surviving just as good as new.
The only thing I don't like about the pedal is the fact you can't play more than one distortion, modulation effect, or delay at once. Other than that, it's all good.
