(Initial Notice posted in June 2004, see further at the end)

Important note: I am a total novice on the subject, and this is the first pedal I bought!

Usual effects: distortion, chorus, flanger, reverb, wah-wah, octave, etc. ...
Less common: feedback, bender, ringman
One can of course create your own effects and save in addition to pre-defined effects.
As shown in the picture, there is a change in pedal, which can be used to vary the volume or anything else during the game There is a drum machine built, rather crude but it can be used to work when does not have a drummer or "real" BAR hand. There is also an amp emulation (1x8 or 4x12 for example) and several types of distortion (tube overdrive, big fuzz, metal, etc ...) and a built-in tuner.

UTILIZATION

For a novice like me, use is fairly simple. I admit that being said I have not tried to use any and push the bazard after a corner. But for routine manipulations, we look at the doc once or twice and then it's good!

SOUND QUALITY

All the effects I used (not all, I admit) are very good.
2 My only complaints are resulting sound side:
1) The chorus that I find it a bit sometimes limited to certain preset effects, but does not stop me to get a jazzy sound that I love.
2) When using the octave, you can not mute the original sound of the guitar to hear the sound changed.

OVERALL OPINION

I remember that I am a novice in this area and this is my first pedal. Also I play more jazz, and especially I am a big lazy trying to do with the preset effects rather than spend 10 years looking for the effect of the death which no one has thought of before.

Having said that, a year later I still do not regret my choice:
- I can have the (s) sound (s) that I want
- The mini drum machine (with limitations) made me good service
- The small size of the pedals can slide easily into her bag.
Come on, a review anyway: the LCD screen is obviously red unreadable when a sunbeam falls right in the above

[supplement after 3 years of use]
I go back a little on what I said above because, in retrospect, I am less satisfied with this pedal for two reasons:
- With my Stratocaster I always hum when I pass by Korg, even in bypass!
- If like me you're not a rock or hard rock, you'll quickly made the rounds of available sounds
So I lower the overall opinion of a point, until replaced by a Korg multi-effects more satisfactory for my needs.
