Published on 12/21/11 at 01:27This is a multi pdalier analog effects (distortion) and numrique (effects: reverb, chorus, delay, compressor, pitch ...). For me it is the limited version of red.
UTILIZATION
The manual is Necessary for rglages effects because everything is adjustable. Forcment So, we need a time Apata. ngatif point: the pdalier comes with instructions in English only but on the Internet you can easily find the French version.
SOUND QUALITY
This is what we INTERESTED. The sound is not that the point?
The effects are excellent and especially TRANSPARENT (main cause of my purchase because I have 5 amps and I wanted everyone keeps his personality it's done with the Nova system!). I was tired of each plug 5 pedals and other effects mutli n'taient not transparent sounding synth and death. I was looking for a multi effects and righteous, but the market is found mostly with mutli amp simulation effects that sound great evil in this price range. L I found my happiness. Mention specially for the reverb which is trs trs bone level. The factory presets, there are all the cool stuff (the presets are trs resssemblants U2) and not so good stuff.
I plug in the effects loop in advance and I use it on a Egnater TWEAK, a Statesman dual el 84, and a blackstar HT5RH Vox night train with all types of guitars (PRS, LP, SG, ES, strat , tl ...). It still sounds good. Mention specially for the wedding and TWEAK Egnater nova system (prfre my config).
OVERALL OPINION
I have been using 15 days of intensive fawn.
I possd of analog pedals and numriques (DS1, Ibanez Chorus, reverb, Tonelab ST ...). Nothing compares to the nova.
What I like most is the transparency effects and the least that he must on occasion make some rglages to get the sound (but it is also a strength since all effects are adjustable depth , speed, mix ...).
I finally found the mutli I was looking for.
Without a doubt, I refer this choice even if you still even get 400 euros which is not ngligeable.
