The types of onboard effects
- Classic modulation effects (flanger, chorus, tremolo, phase etc ...)
- Effects of delay, the classic again
- A voltage boost
- The tone controls, eventuellemejtn assignable expression pedal (not supplied)
- Nice reverbs
- A compressor
- A section of saturations
Digital effects except as saturation
MIDI connectors, but not USB (shame shame)
It was in the creature effects will use a scratch to 95%. Needless to say 5% miss.

UTILIZATION

Relatively simple configuration, as long as you have already handled multifx
Lacks a practical edition via USB. I have not tested editing via midi.
The manual is quite clear.

In use, a large flat on the switching from "pedal" to "preset". Should it get to the bottom of a menu, whereas on machines like TonelabSE (I also) was a switch for that, very handy.
It still comes out with a specific use: in "pedal" is allowed to switch between presets supported a second or two and then you can change the preset (you can even change banks with a similar manipulation of the switches bank). In short, we feel they are pushing to buy the G-switch (not supplied), allowing the preset change while being in the mode "pedal".
But here again, Bb: use the g-switch no longer allows expression pedal but holds: there is indeed only one entrance for both uses. What badgers.

Good point anyway, the ability to save effects / sound position, regardless of the presets. You can save up to 4 and favorites, and remember each of them to the request within a preset. And this for any purpose. Very handy.

Another important point for me, the ability to adjust the tap tempo effects (delay, modulation, etc. ...). Not essential to take the head.

SOUND QUALITY

I only use the effects loop placed in the amp. I have no opinion on the section of saturation, nor on the cuts.
For other effects, good transparency for my taste, exactly what I was looking for.
The reverbs are good, easy to set up the echoes and cool in tone, modulation effects are cool (good tremolo, one of my favorite effects)

OVERALL OPINION

I have used for two months
I like the quality effects, the price not too expensive and some flexibility thoughtful.
I do not like the lack of USB port, the single entry for the connection of either the G-switch, an expression pedal
I like not passing impractical mode "pedal" to "preset"

I have not tried a lot of things before my purchase, but must say there is not necessarily much choice in brands multifx commonly found in the mag in Paris:
- Boss, but I like it, why not try, I do not like it like that. A man should have the right to be intuitive, too, and have whims. No no do not insist, I will take it and that's it.
- Digitech. My adventures with this brand ended with my old pedal RP20 failed repeatedly. Digitech is for me basta. Digitech Tricard from the Reverend, period.
- Korg - it's not always very transparent. Otherwise it is true that it's good stuff not too expensive (I have a little Pandora PX4)
- Vox. it's a bit like that Korg (and rightly), plus vintage. I already have.
- Rocktron. I do not know, but what I read did not give me points to a very intuitive interface.
- Zoom. No, let's be serious.

The ratio Q / P is correct, I would not put more into this type of gear anyway. For the TC Electronic is even a Q / P pretty good, the brand is fairly expensive base.

I looked for modulation effects, delay and reverb relatively transparent: for me the contract is completed. Other effects in addition is the bonus for me. If I were to buy the equivalent effect pedals for nothing that the three categories that interested me, I would have been for the price of the Nova System. And there I can save everything, and more: it's a bit what motivated my choice.
I'm pretty happy with my choice for now. I still have to practice a little more rehearsals and concerts to justify that view.

Post editorial opinion, for the road
You will notice that I do not give the satisfaction exuberant and unjustified scratch pimply all kinds which abound here as they post on stuff they bought two hours ago.
I stay calm, I do not seek the saturation that kills, or the volume that pen. And I do not find myself prostrating in public before an amp Marshall MG 100W in my room of 9m2. It's not about money, it's just a story of ridicule.
That said, scratch pimply pubescent esgourdes and unpolished, I find them endearing side. I think I was one, even if I had not really a lot of stuff at the time.
