-COMPRESSOR
GATE-EQ +
-CHORUS/FLANGER/VIBRATO/PHASER/TREMOLO/PANNER
-PITCH SHIFTER / octave / WHAMMY / DETUNE / HARMONIZER
-DELAY
-REVERB
-BOOST
HP-Simulation
The unit is digital and fully usable at all levels.
A section Analog complements the rest with an Overdrive and Distortion.
No editing possible via PC, but can be updated via MIDI.
-Jack connectors (input, output L / R, pedal expression)
SPDIF-
-MIDI In / Out / Thru
UTILIZATION
Finally the gear Plug & Play ... almost.
The Nova works two different ways, where Drive Line Input mode Input.
Input Line connected in the analog section (Overdrive & Dist) is not enabled, only the effects of modulations (chorus. ..), delays, reverb, pitch and Boost can be used.
Drive Input Connected to the entire Nova is exploitable.
In all cases, the Nova will be informed of the entry selected by the user via the camera menu.
The manual will be of great help when you first start the machine.
Like all digital products, editing presets on the Nova works with some logic that is specific to each device.
Again, the manual is very clear and explains each stage of programming.
A good close reading and the Nova has no secrets or hidden defects.
So the issue is within the reach of all.
SOUND QUALITY
Pro sound quality.
The reverb and delay are the two major strengths of the Nova.
The modulation effects are stunning, all is music, usable and transparent.
The Disto Overdrives and are to my taste the only black spot on the board, however Alech on paper, shows the analog section is concise and cold compared to the effects, even with the HP simulation enabled.
The Nova is especially formidable connected at the end of his chain.
Plugged into a power amp, an effects loop amp or directly connected console sound, the kind of place where a conventionally distos has nothing to do ...
Connected before a preamp, it offers nothing more than just traditional type pedals Roland / Boss where else ... this is only my opinion ...
His place is after a preamp if you want to maximize their possibilities.
OVERALL OPINION
Very good equipment Pro, sturdy, built for the stage, ergonomic, outstanding sound possibilities.
The -: - Tuner a little light and not always reliable.
- Whammy useless without external expression pedal.
- No switch on / off.
- Disto Overdrive and a little disappointing compared to the total.
