7 strings
24 frets
2 humbucker for 7-string (obviously) of BC Rich
Tune-o-matic and string tranversant body
Bolt
one volume knob, one tone and a 3 position switch
it just Korea but if it is good what does it do?
finishes are correct and no more. neither bad nor great. same for the paint and varnish (the varnish is better now though). it remains in the minimum.
I put 7 because it lacks (I think) a floyd ... but it is not the same price either and because it's better now to be done.
UTILIZATION
This is the first and only BC Rich 7 string that I used. I wondered if it was worth the Ibanez. Surprise: Yes! not better but it's worth a Nipon smoothly.
the handle of the warlock is wonderful as everyone knows, but the 7-string version is just as well. relatively thin in thickness, asser dish, just enough wide with access to acute impeccable, despite the handle screw. seeing a profile picture one can think that it was unplayable from 17 cargo due to the hardware, well not from this point without problems.
Notice to all: as soon as you have the first thing to do is readjusted to the tune-o-matic and change the strings. Curiously it is the original set too high.
a very reasonable weight, it leans slightly to the head, but frankly do not care what you (such as from the end)! and then it's very light so a strap of leather or imitation and talk about it more.
plus: the location of the tie straps at the back of the body is that it almost never posts only! even to the plant on the knees with one foot on the back ^ ^
9 because the neck is not that the perfect although it is excellent.
SOUNDS
The sound is good, thick and asser playing one soon realizes that the violin is very well damn, sound propagates very well resonate throughout the body which is not so common on the model "big fat guitar in non-high-end ".
it lacks just be a little bit of accuracy but the more I chipotte and I was so used to the EMG is more.
The pickups just ... not bad at all, its a very nice, rather thick and a little chand, asser wild with the advantages and inconvenience this entails. I counted the change for Di Marzio, but I realize that this is not always as they are rather nice, well ok for this price range.
harmony (not as much as a EMG but still), asser-balanced level of the spectrum.
guess what? it sounds metal! if ^ ^! it's going to rock muscular black very dirty. The bridge position is the strongest. central position very well, thicker. The neck position is not against top except for a shift knob with the softer tone completely closed. knob I use a lot and folds its role.
careful to pay your rack / amp to avoid the side of mudd 7 string.
the cleans are not top but its not bad a condition to find the microphone position and tone knob for you.
the handle screw is surprising because despite sustain it is well above what is expected. and then the strings through the body it helps.
8 because it is very good especially for this range. it is also very good tuning.
OVERALL OPINION
Output it was worth 400/450 euro. and it is always of good quality at any level above that is not really waiting on the BC Rich 7 string. curiously what I considered to be negative on this model namely the handle screw and tune-o-matic proved very satisfactory and even very effective.
knowing that I paid mine 222 euro nine (yes it's true you guess where?) I would do without this choice problem ... and I would take even a second if it were still in stock.
floyd the lack of it, but it is more expensive.
No complaint has him ... 9! we really enjoy the play and saw the shape it is easy to resell if you get tired (but I would not know how tired ^ ^)
<strong>Edit: after a long period of use, I ended up replacing the bridge pickup with an EMG 81-7. Being a big fan base of EMG for the right reasons every objective, I am more than heureus change. TIP: put the old pickup in the neck position. winding <em>seems</em> to be reversed, it brings more acute in the neck position. In this new config micro guitar keeps its very (too) high levels of bass.
After much back and a lot of time on it I think it is not so great as that. C except that the time I remember the price ... and yes it's worth it! especially after the change of mciros, she keeps her personality, of course, but entry-level personality anyway.
In short now I have the biggest violin but I do not regret this purchase that I served a good time and I will probably still one or two overdub here and there. At this price it's still very good. So I do not change my rating ^ ^</strong>
