This is the DBZ brand, mark the founding Dean, Dean Zelinsky.
This is a 7-string guitar, so natively BEADGBE granted.
Model made in Korea.

It includes:
- An Original Floyd Rose bridge
- A bolt on neck with rosewood 24 frets, only one mark at the 12th fret
- A body and a mahogany head
- 2 active EMG humbuckers and 81-7 707
- A volume knob, one tone of / mics (s) chosen via 3-position selector

UTILIZATION

I'm used to the axes (I had a BC Rich Warlock, a BC Rich Beast, and I have a Dean ML bass).
The handle is - comparatively - very comfortable!
Ditto for the weight and balance, although it is active with a Floyd, it remains relatively mild and well suspended.
Access to the latest box looks to me pretty simple (I'm not a fan of solos)
The sound is very easy to adjust, typical EMG active.

The location of the jack is - for me - not very well placed: the inner side of the bottom point, which can disturb ... I'll have to invest in an angled jack!

SOUNDS

I play death / black, old-school Swedish typed.
Today I play live on Randall RG100 G3, on the bridge pickup.

In disto sounds, it's very clean, with either little or a lot of presence. Harmonics come easily ... Perfect for the big metal.

With less distortion, you can get a good sound stoner.

In his clear, obviously the guitar and amp are not made for, but going on neck pickup, you get a sound much presentable.

In short, good versatility ... to the nag!

OVERALL OPINION

It's been nearly six months that I have this guitar, with which I play at home and in groups.

Its unique shape made me crack, persuaded me his config ... its price (Hard Case included) made me decide!

The finish looks to me correct, I love its color is dark red.

This is one of the cheapest 7-string, given its pickups, floyd and his form, I do it again without hesitation that choice, and am not ready to change his guitar!

Note that my model is part of thhgjhge first production for Europe ... Needless to say it was hard to get it for me, and therefore it is scarce. I went through a French department store, but it is not indicated nor AF, nor on the site DBZ ... So you find!
