This guitar is made in Japan, after a look at the site ibanez we see that the size of this guitar are identical in all respects to the universe of Vai, so playing comfort level there no problems
the body is mahogany on maple neck with rosewood key reported a net attached pearl of great effect
the microphones are di-Marzio paf7

my guitar is finished to perfection, the frets were nickels to buy in terms of flatness and polishing, the junction body / neck is perfect (no date), RAS
a detail: it still took me to do a tour with a luthier to adjust to the hair, ibanez still room for improvement at this level.
UTILIZATION
The handle is very comfortable to play and allows stunts of all kinds
access to acute is good
the guitar is heavy
stratabound shape is comfortable as it should
personally for me its very good
SOUNDS
I am also a former shredder converted to a music which is based the support of the singer and the accompaniment of other instruments as opposed to the support of my navel
I am plugged into a 5150 and two 4x12 cabinets, "outside my vox wah, I do not use any effects at the moment, almost a GT8 for the side connectors and programmable
I think the pickups are really good and are well studied for this model because their definition and their average output level can not play the porridge, I like, I climb ropes 10-13-17-26 -36-46-56 in standard tuning down a tone as the guys from Korn and it sounds good to me
OVERALL OPINION
I have this guitar for 3 years and I love it, it is simple, sober, no unnecessary buttons, I find very good mics, the vibrato is very good too, there is a flight case that asks the people ? a very good 7 string for those who wish not to take the lead, the only reservation is that it is beyond the reach of all budgets.
