UTILIZATION

The handle is just perfect. Very fine and pleasant to the touch, there is no harm in playing it!
The guitar is pretty light, and the shape allows a comfortable game, sitting or standing.
Access to the latest frets is no worries, thanks to the shape of the guitar. A model of ergonomics!

SOUNDS

The pickups are very versatile. The sounds are very pleasant, very slammin crystalline, but lack a little heat. At the level of distortion is a little less good, it lacks definition. Selector 5 positions change slightly the sounds, but not enough for my taste. The pickups are still very good, but I think the change for DiMarzio.

OVERALL OPINION

Received this morning, I've played on a lot, and I'm very happy I did so far encountered no problems, except the tuning much more difficult than on a simple fixed bridge. This is the price to pay to enjoy the vibrato!
The handle and the overall ergonomics of the guitar are the things I like the most. I am less convinced by the microphones, but they are generally good.
I bought for only € 769 in Music Essonne because it was discontinued. The value for money is simply excellent! The case adapted to the guitar is included. It is rigid, fits perfectly inside the forms of guitar, and contains a kind of small chest for storing strings, picks, etc ...
I remake that choice without hesitation!

UTILIZATION

So with that Ibanez was right, as usual with the brand in a very flat race, certainly not as flat as the Dean Rusty Cooley or Lag Stephan Forte but still!
I personally found the handle very comfortable from the beginning while I was apprehensive because it is a 7-string guitar! The grip has been quite simple and that the handle has a satin varnish can play for hours without hand that sticks to the handle (useful for long rehearsals and summer.
However as and when I started to like least radius of 16 "to 20", certainly for the solo is great but when we want to make more bar chords too.
In all cases access to the treble is very good even if it's a bolt on neck (a neck-through would have been great)

In terms of ergonomics has nothing else wrong except that the guitar is perhaps slightly heavier than I had before, the body is thick enough (fortunately it is not mahogany) .

Regarding the sound, we get almost anything you want through the 5-way switch, but the original pickups do not get the sound you'd expect in a high-end guitar (that's all along the Ibanez Prestige).

SOUNDS

This guitar is well suited for what I play, I could get just about what I wanted with the original pickups but I found a few styles for just less metal but once spent on Seymour Duncan SH2n SH4 and I got a guitar less typical metal and a little more versatile.
What is certain is that coupled with my ENGL Invader 100 in the big sound it manages.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar for over 6 months and I had not tried other 7-string models before, I jumped at the chance to have real cheap (600 €) and I was very want to get a Ibanez RG for some time!

What I like most about this guitar is first and foremost the handle which is very nice despite its radius and what I like least on the other hand is its radius, which is made a very guitar oriented shred in the end.

I think in all cases the quality / price ratio is very good, I just wish the finish a little too sober.

Although I still love this guitar a lot, I think I would do not elect the views of my current requirements, this guitar does not correspond completely to me, unlike my ESP Horizon III for example.
That said the market for 7-string, it's pretty hard to find what suits us, unless we look for a 7-string oriented metal or shred.
