UTILIZATION
The neck of this guitar is actually wider. Last year I played a lot with it until I left on vacation during which a wrist pain persisted (I felt when I was taking support out of the pool). One of my friend who is a fan of 7-string and has a dozen confirmed to me that he knew of cases of tendinitis caused by this model ...
That said I do not have very large hands, this probably explains it.
Another unexpected result from the practice of this round, increased velocity and increased the ease of playing a 6 string.
SOUNDS
The pickups fitted as original are certainly Di Marzio but low-end. The entire set is well balanced but it lacks gniak. The microphone of my Ibanez S370 are pêchus.
My buddy (the 7-string fan
) is systematically replacing the pickups with EMG.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for + / - 2 years I think. I quite like the scratches despite its faults and it became my main guitar.
I still reported a failure: many chips in the paint at the edges as I did not undergo treatment more daring than my other guitars ... strange strange ...
