UTILIZATION

The handle is an innovation in its series with Schecter Slim Line Series, it is flatter than on their other models. This greatly simplifies the game for little fingers between the larger larger than 6 strings usually 24.5 "or 25.5" neck and tuning.

Access to acute is no problem, the handle has been designed to handle the crazy.
The guitar sound is great even unplugged.

SOUNDS

I used to make metal and the guitar is royal. This is my main guitar I use in my setup with a Peavey 6505 + head and a cabinet Orange 4 * 12.

I reproach against the microphones by AHB-1 7 strings. If you want the active I advise you to get in EMG that I actually did. Or if you have the passive version since the SLS range exists in the passive and active versions. The AHB-1 7 strings are round, so those looking for an aggressive and cutting sound I recommend you stay on these pickups.
Since I installed an EMG kit 81-7/60-7 above I have a much more aggressive and sharp sound that I wanted.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar since December 2012 granted Drop A. Before I had a Schecter Blackjack ATX C-1 (6 strings) also mounted active Seymour Duncan had the same defects as those on the 7-string, so too round.

What I like most about this guitar is the refined and satin sleeve which allows slipped and incredible accuracy. With small fingers, I did not even feel the difference from 6 to 7 strings. Besides pulling since before I was 14-74 and now 11-58.

What I like least is the mechanical part. Schecter mechanical parts do not exist, it is impossible to simply customize the buttons. I intend to change by Schaller M6. Then comes the string through that create a lot of harmonics. I will rectify this by installing a fixed bridge Schaller.

A guitar is never perfect series in May this Schecter an excellent base. If I had to be a custom shop I would take almost the same properties in the violin and foremost this genial mat handle. If you want a 7-string easy to play and versatile, I urge you to let your guitar for this Schecter.

UTILIZATION

This is my first prmiere seven strings and Schecter. I played on a 6 string guitar Storm before this one.
This is a sls, so the body and neck are fine and pleasant to handle. Not much heavier than other guitar 7kg.
The highs are easily accessible.
Good sound, good sustain.
The seventh chord is easy to play, I took 3 days to return new benchmarks but with a lot of fun.

SOUNDS

It should necessarily my style of music since I play mostly metal.
I play with a Maxon OD808, a metal pedal Blackstar ht, I get a satisfactory repet room (I can not tell you the brand of the amp cabinet.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 1 month and I am very proud!
I have not tried other models but I've tried before to find, through Jackson, Ibanez, Agil.
What I like is the ease of play make slide, sound, and fine round.
I just acquire only one month but I remake that choice without hesitation.
