I bought this guitar in a swedish musicgear shop. This guitar became my first one and i don´t regret a single penny of it. It cost me approx. 800$.

This guitar has just the things i was looking for when i was looking for a guitar. Superb sound, easily played and it feels awsome. It has three pickups which there is a three way switch for and one wolume- and one tone knob. It also has a another switch which you select lead or rythm soundlike sound. If you put this switch down you control the guitar with the three way switch. In this case you have(if want to) three diffrent solo sounds. If you put i upwards you get a more lofi and soft sound with a little less voulume,which is ment to be a rythm sound. But I like just as much i leadplaying. The "Lead & rythm" button also has one volume- and one tone knob. This guitar is great for almost any music but i wouldn´t recommend it to metal. I play blues,jazz,pop and rock and it works perfect. It doesn´t matter how hard I play it still stays in tune.

Not much. It´s hard to get my tremoloarm to stay in place. But I don´t use that much. Had some problems with the neck before a bought it so I had it repalced.
THE ORIGINAL BRIDGE SUCKS. Replace it with a Mustang bridge or buy an buzzstop.

It´s a Fender. Do I need to say more.
Great quality except the tremoloarm. I dón´t bother do something about it...

I Love this guitar. Looks, feels and sounds great if you ask me. Dispite the dislikes i have to give it a top rating!

Fender single coil pickups, which I replaced with Seymour Duncan Hot for Jazzmaster ® SJM-2 that are much warmer and less flashy.

Original bridge, a real shame I prefer not even talk about it, I did replace it with a mustang bridge that solves part of the problem + a buzz stop.

Infact at first what charm is its look and handle divine.

Access to acute is easy, the volume knob a little too much in the way of hand when one gets upset a little.
It is quite light and shape ensures a comfortable Thurs

Next what we want, we get the sound you want fast enough, it is versatile enough especially with the bonus button on top of the pickguard that allows a second setting on the micro serious.

I did change the pickups and there is pure happiness. Dynamic and bluesy we almost take for the leader of the black keys.

At first not really my thunderbolt fell on the handle in particular, the look and feel and at the time I did not play as saturated sound level so it suited me perfectly. Once I set up my group and the first concert arrived, the microphones were quickly shown limited when they are pushed so once it's really changed a mass murder.

I was granted DO ... and I was looking for his bold but not too much, so this guitar is perfect for me, it sounds grunge.

Sound level is what I prefer serious microphone, it really is superb, both for the clean sound is a wonder or saturated (with LSU-2 of course).

I have 5 years.
Its uniqueness is that it quickly became our guitar, as it must buy its parts that make small adjustments. No one else sounds like mine and it is the same for the other owners I think.
What I like least is that the finisher is poor.

€ 830 at the time ... Today I would not put more than € 650 especially with the Classic series player is extra.

I would do this election ... I love it.

The Jazzmaster has been made in Japan
The neck has 21 frets and single coil pickups are Fender Vintage style (inspired by P90)
The bridge is so original vintage
It has a volume knob and one tone knob, a 3 position selector (Neck pickup alone, bridge pickup alone, both pickups together) as well as three other buttons: two volume knobs and tone serious and drive the micro a switch to switch quickly from his grave to a high pitch.

The neck is thin (it is necessarily the Fender) and wish well in hand
Access to acute may seem difficult at first but with a little practice you get used to very quickly
The guitar is perfectly balanced (either sitting or standing) and the plane dug in the back of the body is more enjoyable (for sitting)
Once connected, the sound is directly clear (the Fender of course) and clear (much closer to the bite of a Telecaster). After some adjustments we obtain easily the desired sound (the buttons are Polivalente asses and let's have a history of another directly)

I play mostly grunge rock enough (approaching the Kills or PJ Harvey), but also blues and jazz. This guitar is simply a marvel as it allows to vary the sound (move from his grave and his Lourtie a slamming and clear). It is very polivalente at this level and it is for me the best guitar at this level (with Jaguar): the sound is clear and slamming into the acute and with a little distortion is easily obtained a powerful and accurate.
I play on a Roland Cube 30x, which contains a lot already and it is indeed very beautiful with this guitar, I can easily get any sound! I also use a delay pedal DD-7 and the two combined (guitar and pedal) is a wonder!
I have a soft spot for his heavy and fat can be obtained by changing the tone of the micro serious but what is amazing is that this sound can go directly to the switch using a clear and crystal-clear!

It's been two years that I have soon and I am extremely happy! I remake that choice if I had biensur! It is perfect for my style (The Kills, PJ Harvey or Babyshambles). One thing to note: the original bridge which is really crappy (yes, excuse me ^ ^). The strings tend to jump when one plate a little strong agreement and they are more or less raprochées each other, forcing up to the ropes properly. It is extremely advisable to change it by replacing it with an easel or an easel for Mustang Classic Players.
Otherwise this guitar is simply excellent and the value taken as well!
I therefore advise you without hesitation!

I changed the bridge (very useful!) Against another Mustang, which is more screwed.
I have also changed over the microphone against the Japanese Seymour Duncan Antiquity II.

Channel trs well. It seems that the frets are strong moves away (a friend who made me a strat note)
trs but you get used quickly.
For ergonomics, nothing wrong.
It is balance and not too heavy.

For what I do like music, it is perfect. With the new vintage microphones get more
a unique sound that makes everything I play is typical and rac. It changes from one stratum or a Gibson!
I use it on a Deville often coupled with a Rat etl'uneou the other pedals.
She can do anything, whether or pieces DUROCK calmer.
For mtal, but you can forget the better you tell me!
I use most often with a little crunch and it is the only all its beauty.

I use my Jazz 3-4 years and I'm still mad.
It is the only guitar I could keep my whole life.

although I am not sure that it is better, after changes made on my own.
I bought about 700 euros, which is reasonable, knowing that it will changer2-3 little things
long term. But believe me, the investment is worth it.
I would do this choice, again and again.

The Fender Jazzmaster Reissue Japan is an electric guitar that has been made in a number of different years.  The one that I have used is a 1996 reissue and is pretty much exactly the same as its predecessor as I have used both models.  The guitar has two soap box style pick ups along with a tone and volume knob and unique tone volume sliders.  It also has a standard pick up switch and also has a whammy bar.

Using the Japanese Fender Jazzmaster Reissue isn't hard as everything is pretty easy to understand.  If you have any experience with electric guitars I don't think you'll have a problem controlling your sound.  This being said, there is more going on here than on most electric guitars.  The neck of the guitar is one of the best feeling that I have ever played on.  It has a fluid feel and it is the type of guitar that makes you always want to come back for more.  The shape of the guitar is unique and is overall beautifully designed in terms of its look...

The Fender Jazzmaster Japanese Reissue is one of, if not the most versatile electric guitar that I have used.  The amount of varying tones that I find possible with this guitar is outstanding.  Since you have two tone parameters and two volumes, you can adjust them in a variety of ways to get all sorts of tones.  I use the guitar primarily with a '76 Fender Twin Reverb but have used it with a variety of amps and I find that it works best with a tube amp.  A main reason for this is because you can get some killer overdrive with a tube amp when you turn up both up the volume all the way.

I've now been using the Fender Jazzmaster Reissue Japanese version for quite some time and I can't say a bad thing about this guitar.  Not only is it one of the easiest guitars to play that I have tried, the tone is also outstanding.  It also has one of the coolest looking designs that I've seen.  Needless to say, I love this guitar through and through and it is one that I would highly recommend.

This Fender Jazzmaster was made in Japan and the particular guitar I have was made in 1980. It has 24 frets and two soap box style picks ups. It has knobs for tone and volume and has a switch for pick up selection. It also has a bright switch and two wheels that also change the tone. It has a tremolo bar as well.

The feel of this guitar is fluid and the action is quite low, which makes it really easy to play all around the neck. It isn't the lightest guitar in the world, but is light enough and easy to carry. It has an awesome look and overall shape to it and the overall tone is versatile and vibrant.

While this guitar is called a Jazzmaster, I've never actually used it for jazz music. I have used it mostly for pop and rock. This being said, it would definitley work well with jazz and a number of different genres as it has a great overall tone and is suitable for a variety of applications. The clean sound is great - I usually use it with a '76 Fender Twin Reverb and the sound is crisp and quite vibrant. I also use it with a bit of overdrive, but have found that this guitar isn't best for heavy distortion.

The Fender Jazzmaster is one of my favorite guitars as it feels great to play and also sounds awesome. All of the controls it has on the body allow you to alter the sound in a number of ways and you can get a variety of sounds with it. The price is pretty reasonable if you can get one used and won't break the bank at all. Overall, my favorite part of this guitar is the neck and is really feels great. Fender makes arguably the best guitars in the world and this model is a prime example.
