Published on 12/28/10 at 07:03- Model made in Japan, mine was in 2005.
- Designed in colaboration with Fender by Kurt Cobain
- Mix between a Fender Jaguar and a Fender Mustang
- Bridge of Fender Mustang Fender Dynamic Vibrato "
- Pickguard for Fender Mustang, with a humbucker at bridge
- Even as the electronic Mustang (Cod.: interuptor 1/OFF/Phase Phase 2 for each pickup)
- 1 Knob volume and 1 tone Knob.
- Neck rather short and very thin, killing 22 frets
Kurt Cobain was mixed with a Fender Jaguar Fender Mustang, but the result still looks more like a mustang!
As I said before, the handle is super late. I think it's wonderful, especially when almost as rhythmic.
Access to acute is easy thanks to the form's retort that guitar.
The guitar is relatively light.
The different combinations at different stages of activation of the microphones are not very numerous, but they are well noted.
The weak point of this guitar is do not buy if you intend to use the vibrato ... (Must be secure by tightening a screw, and you still continued to support 1 cm above ...)
This guitar, for my biggest surprise, a very dry sound and very aggressive! I am also owner of a Fender Jaguar, and I think it's night and day between the sound of these 2 guitars. I like it much anyway! It is pretty versatile thanks to its micro Humbuker and simple, and it is very suitable for all tyles music (though I do not know if she manages to spit the metal ...)
I play with a Boss DS2 (distortion) and a Electroharmonix Small Clone (chorus) (not a fan of Nirvana for nothing ^ ^ '), all connected to a Marshall Valve State 65R, amp that spits in thrills!
To summarize, I love the sound of this guitar!
I've had just one month, I found it in a music store in my area to 350 € for the guy who sold it was in a hurry to sell.
I guess the only people scratching connaitrecette are fans of Nirvana, and that's a shame because it's a really good guitar that is not limited to rock the 90's! A small new
