Hard at first to try to describe my "wild thing" ...
But just as my Mosrite, I will try to share the great pleasure of owning and especially such a practice instrument.
I have long sought to acquire a Fender Jaguar before finding "Wild" ..
The lady is a sunburst of March '64 completely original except for the bridge that I replaced but I'll ...
Unlike the simplistic image that we have, I think the Jaguar is a guitar of extreme versatility with a unique character .. She is comfortable in almost every style of music and is almost immediately recognizable ..
I played with her rock, post rock, blues, African music, song quite happily ... This is one of the guitars (I own a dozen) that m ' inspires more creatively speaking and makes me new ways to borrow music or sound ...

Technically, the guitar, short scale requires, quite confusing if you just tuning forks longer ... A few days later, we can not live without!
The handle is quite round and shapely, slightly easier approach but grows to become one with the instrument.
This is also the thickest handle my family.
It is the opposite of my Mosrite Combo who play the "hands down" ...
With "Wild" you have to be constantly on the alert, which promotes research sound and music helps me to get out of my "plans" ..
Sounds that we draw are, thanks to the specifics of the Jaguar, incicifs, nervous and sharp with serious present and well defined highs and formidable ever, but then never garish or intrusive .. It is these latest frequencies (as well as its high mids) that I love the most about "Wild" ...
The low cut filter is great for a little more color palette ..
. For cons, I do not use never Circuit above (but I regret my Jazzmaster for this) except formidable kill switch ..
Now to only flaw inherent to Fender Offsets: The bridge ...
Jump ropes, buzz and "ploings" of all kinds, sagging bridge, bridges crumbling ... We all know the adventures of offseteux!
After many trials and attempts to resolve it properly (buzzstop, mustang bridge, graph tech ..) I decided to spend all my Jazzmaster and Jaguar Grand Mastery bridge ... took me well!
Comfort and increased stability with little change in tone (even if a bit less twangy .. actually).
Vintage or not, considering all the benefits (especially live) that provides mastery bridge despite its price, the switch is automatic on my Offsets ...
What about the magic of tremolo ...
This floating tremolo is for me the best Fender is designed ...
Ancun Disagree, and a setting of easier .. In addition to being a real creative tool!
In short, the best design témolos vintage (Fender / Bigsby / Moseley ..)

I urge every guitarist can afford to offer a Fender Jaguar it is vintage, reissue or other ...
Because it is an instrument that challenges us, makes us sometimes (especially to stabilize the setting) pissed we bite the eardrums than us .... but we make it a hundredfold ...

This is the Jaguar 4-string bass made my Fender. I have a 2010 model in Hot Rod Red. The color is sort of a mix between Fiesta and Dakota Red.

I was in a local music shop and saw this marked down from $1100 down to $599. That was a steal for a nicely crafted in Japan Fender bass. I think that is the same price that a made in Mexico Jazz Bass costs.

The block inlays, matching headstock and extra chrome like the old Fender Jaguar guitars give this bass a really hip look.

Tonally it is very Jazz Bass like.

The neck, nut and string spacing are identical to a Jazz Bass.

The electronics are in my opinion overly complicated. You have two pickups, a master volume and tone, an active treble and bass boost as well as on/off switches for the pickups.

This could easily through you for a loop and is a bit daunting at first. You'll get the hang of it eventually, but yikes, they could have made an easier control layout.

The bass looks awesome. It plays and feels like a Jazz bass. Fender Japan has always put out a decent instrument. The body is made of alder which gives you a very Fender-y tone, the neck is a hard maple and the fretboard on all of the Jaguars is rosewood.

The pickups are the pickups that go in a Jazz Bass.

Bottom line is the Jaguar Bass gives you the classic sound of a Fender Jazz bass with added style points for looks.

I first read about the jag on the fender website, then i researched it, and found one on ebay and managed to get it for $500. I guess it was hot.

Where to start, well, the colors that come with it are awesome. The tone is even better, nice and twangy. I also like that you have complete control over the pickups and their volume with the guitar, which is really cool.

There are exactly 2 things i would change about this guitar. 1, it is kind of heavy, but its not heavy to stop people from buying it heavy. 2, the bridge is a real pain, just get the lighter gauge strings, and you should wipe out that problem.

Well, i bought it damaged new. And it sounds way better than any guitar i have played undamaged new. Again, the bridge stuff kind of gets loose, but it only gets in the way of palm muting. So, its no big problem if you are just playing like a 6 hour gig. (who plays gigs longer than 2 hours though?)

Bottom line, get this guitar if you like twangy noise. But let me go further, if you are considering not buying the guitar because its production was so short, let me enlighten you. They quit making it because people like Hendrix and Buddy Guy were all using the strats, and the strats were selling. Then, the 70s came, and surf music was completly wiped off the charts, so the jag was really not selling. It was a marketing reason why they dropped it and not a technical reason, so again, GET THIS GUITAR, IT ROCKS!

I got this guitar from www.GuitarStrings.co.uk for a very reasonable price of £500. I got it because I love the shape and the style of the jaguar.

There are tons of things i like about this guitar! Firstly I love the shape (as i said already). Its so retro but classic at the same time. I love the playability of it. Its so easy to pick up and play. Another thing I love about it (that I was surprised by) was the weight. Its very light yet it looks chunky. Yet another plus about it.

The only thing I dont like about the guitar ( emphesis on "only") is the fact that the knobs and things arent labeled. I suppose if they were, it might take away the atractiveness of the guitar but it would make it a whole lot easier to get the sound you want. Theres so many little things, you dont now what to do.

The construction of it is great. Very nicely held together except form the one flaw. The whammy bar thats connected to the bridge falls out! Its not connected by twisting it like a strat, it just slots in. This isnt really a porblem to most people though. The quality is fantastic.

This is an amazing guitar thats very worth considering buying. It plays fantastically, its light and it looks impressive too!

i bought this guitar from a local dealer in my city of plymouth and i payed 650 pounds for it (100 Pound discount)

the look of ths guitar is stunning especially in sea foam green umm it looks nice hardware and ummmm nothing else

the action is far to high, this guitar hardly sustains at all, the hardware feels cheap, the bridge is built poorly, jack lead cable loosens easy, screws in bridge undo when playing, very heavy, the tremolo system

the construction of this guitar is very poor, the bridge the hardware, the tremolo system (actually caved in when i played it) the hardware of this guitar is rubbish feels really cheap and tacky

i would almost beg u 2 not but htis guitar i was so un happy with it i managed to take it back and get a full refund, i spoke to fender and asked them why there were so many problems and they replied ( we ave taken the same design from the original in 1962)and there not gunna change it . please dont but it save a couple hundred quis and but a strat or les paul cant go wrong there

Well the fender jaguar,what can i say... Well i paid £569 for it at my local store and i have to say it is a great guitar.

The tone is brilliant,you can go from rock to a blues tone.im glad there is gut switches and the rollers cause it is easy to get good sound easily,its better than the strat versions or les pauls.One of the main reasons i got the jaguar was that 1.Kurt Cobain used it and i love grunge and 2.the colour!!! The candy apple red is so nice but the 3 tone sunburst with the pearloid scratch plate,so nice!!the guitar looks cool as the butt of it stands out so it is unique to have one.

The down side to it is the weight,at first it is ok but if you play an hour set at a town hall like me and my band do it gets your back a bit sore,even worse when you jump up and down and into the drumkit!!

This guitar is a well built guitar with a really good feel.it is so easy and comfortable to play and you will never want to set it down!!It is a brilliant guitar

This is the guitar to have.look what i wrote above.its easy to play and worth every penny.you have to get it.please get it.you will love it as soon as you touch it..Well im going to play my jaguar and hope you take my advice and get one!!

This guitar was bought in my local music store. It was a gift and I believe it cost between £700-£800 pounds.

I love almost everything about this guitar. I am a big Nirvana fan and I know Kurt Cobain used Jags a lot. I have only played guitar for about a year and I am in love with them all. If I had to pick what I like most it is the Knobs and switches on the body they provide you with a selection of tones which of course is great. I had a cheap Squire Strat before this and I hated the layout on it because I always hit the selector switch on the body but not any more because the Jag has the switch on the top.
Hooray!!

The only thing I dont like about this guitar is the tremolo arm which always falls out because it doesn't seem to screw in but I dont use it much anyways so it's not my biggest worry!

Quality was great not a scratch.

Great guitar, Great price, Great quality so go out and try it.

The handle ... a round fender, that is great fun for fans of Fender ... those of Gibson will be a little disappointed, there's nothing to say about it
access to acute is fairly easy but you have to press like a nag on the ropes for the note is needed and not one in DeSousa, may be due to a setting error.
ergonomics is great, you saw the face of this guitar?? she tears ... but still it is a matter of taste! Although a bit heavy in body, but it goes very well compared to the TV or a rosewood sg.
the microphones are adjustable super easy! there's a super catchy as can also have a very "bluesy" ... brief that happiness!

This guitar is very special ... it will not suit all guitarists, I think a bluesman will be conquered by Jazzmaster ... as to the metalheads, you will have to change the model, if not brand. this guitar is extremely catchy ... but then bcp bcp. Ideal for rock "catchy"
That said, it is still quite versatile since it can make the blues, even if the Jazzmaster is better at this point (though less versatile) finally ca I said before!
I played with a poor shit amp, but I tried it with a twin reverb, well there is the legend fender as in the demo videos!

I use this guitar for two solid months and tears.
I hesitated with a les paul frankly the only thing I regret the les paul is the handle ... But that's the mark that is that!
this guitar, in addition to having a look phew, its a super catchy and very special, so it's worth a try or play online. I think that dinosaur jr can do the trick in the demo, I can pretty well find their sound. Same with Miss K who nevertheless has a Jazzmaster.
excellent value for money I bought this used 1000 euros Well it's well worth 2000 euros in store!
I would do this choice ears closed with experience of course!
but this guitar is very very special qd, both in terms of focus (oddly balanced) than the neck (fender ^ _ ^) I repeat that sound catchy! So try before you buy and not the Japanese, which does not resemble him at all. they tried to hide the small timber of japan by putting double pickups ... result: all buy a ibanez 200 euros. no no no Japanese American!
