I use it for a year (SV 120). I buy in order to rpeter night in a poorly soundproofed apartment trs. I am an amateur (10 years of conservatory) and I play in a chamber orchestra.

The position is the same as for a classical violin. It may possibly rework the bridge or switch to the map of key strings is close to that of his violin. Trs but it's really good. A flat, with batteries, the weight of the vehicle is above average. In the long run a fatigue!
The bow technique, there is no diffrence notorious (less grinding heel). Reduces the dynamic lgrement, it takes a little force on the bow to accentuate the nuances (which is not bad when RPET).
Also this is the tool to work IDAL accuracy. a single cart and sounds really wrong!

The sound: In fact, it is perhaps explain the principle of acoustic bte.

Without amplification, as there is no cash, there is no serious (or trs atnu. But still the acute Submitted. The E string and the harmonics are (the violin is not as quiet as this!). With the amplification and the atria, it compensates for the lack of serious for a balance convinquant trs. The sound is close to a true trs violin, a bit flattering as it certainly lacks some harmonics and squeaks are attnus. But on the accuracy, the machine does not forgive anything. (this time the attenuation of the harmonics is on our dfaveur! ).

In contrast, closed with headphones or when recording the audio on a squenceur audio (eg Cubase) is much worse (or at least away from the classical violin trs). We lose because all the harmonics of the strings directly to obtain only the amplification of serious corrective and its sounds really electric! and the breath is never far trs. If you wanted to record the sound of a real violin plutt buy a good microphone!

Overall, this is a really good violin study (especially for accuracy). The cost with the atria trs is close to a classical violin, his lightweight one flattering that you do not break the ears (especially those of your neighbors!). Epatant to work his instrument!
And of course, the audio output can imagine all the possible electrical DLIR ....

Rectification 5/10/2005: As for the breath of the audio output, and to abound in the direction of ZZIP indeed with an external power supply is better and with pramps correct (Edirol DA2496) c 'is very well.
I use my SV120 for over three years always with great pleasure ...
