Fruity Loops designed by Image Line is one of the most popular music software on the market now.
It has plenty of nice plugins that can help to boost your music on a whole new level.
It's easy to use and reading the manual should explain basically everything you want.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

The software works great and one of the greatest things about FL is not using many cpu resources(I had run FL on a 256 mb ram pc ) and I could create some beats.

It's very stable regarding of what many musicians say and hate it, you could really create some nice beats in there, the design is mainly manufactured for hip-hop purpose, it's much easier to set a drum pattern on FL than in Logic Pro let's say, or Ableton.
I've been using FL a long time ago,it's a good software to start in music understanding and how it supposed to sound and how to create the sounds.

OVERALL OPINION

What I like the most about FL as I said are the low resources needed to run this software, also it has one of the most complex piano editing right now, no software could compete with that at the moment, even logic or ableton.
The price is pretty low, and you get a bunch of plugins with the program, however I would recommend to get some other samples, vengeance are pretty high quality.

Another great thing about it is that it can run as a vst to other Daw which can be quite handy.
The Arranging is easy to create, you can really make something original in just a few minutes.
Well,having said that,I really recommend that you get into FL if you're a beginner or just someone that loves to create some music without wasting too much time, but as you progress you should consider some other daw's that are more complex, have some others features and provide something completely new on the market.

no installation problems, no conflict except that I never could run their fruity vibrator.
the manual is very complete, with small tutorials ... no translation in French français.bizarre for Coy.

OVERALL OPINION

I took the Producer Edition version for the registration and direct to disk, I use a an.si since it is used only with a master keyboard it goes, I even feel that fruity loops n is that why. with my mpc to midi as audio recording that I had worries, anyway I do not like the sound s too much compression.pour terms of plugs or other effects you should know that this does are not vsti, the mix and the playlist version of producer and xxl are laughable, given what is being done today in the same range of prix.impossible resell fruity loops since it is a license owner , besides the eq2 edison and I think it's too expensive for what it is, I am really disappointed and I will not go that choice.

With FL Studio it is the most easy and nice looking digital audio workstation to use.
Everything was easy to set up with no stress at all basically download it, click install and your ready to go.
The vsts included are great, very nice looking and all of them provide something special to your tracks.
The manual is great and nicely set out I am still finding out new things that I can do with fl studio.
Everything in the program is easy to use and all works in sync with itself which I find is the most important feature in a digital audio workstation.
I really enjoy fl studio, just how easy everything was to set up and get going in matter of minutes was unbelievable to say the least.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Everything works perfectly on my configuration of 4gb ram and 1.8GHz processor. The performance is amazing but with most things will slow down once you get into using a lot of effects plugins to get the best mix possible such as having a lot of reverb vst plugins running at the same times can seriously impact on speed with the project but that is more about the performance of the computer than the actual fl studio set up.
I have been using this for about 1 year, maybe more and I will stick with it until there is an even better DAW on the market.


OVERALL OPINION

Overall opinion is that this is the best you can buy, its cheap which I think puts people off but it should not.
Everything runs smoothly and it looks nice as well which I think leads you onto making better productions.
You can run any external (non fruity) vst on this program also which is great since I have a lot of vsts.
Definitely the best production software out there and so underrated.

When I first bought FL studio I was sceptical to all the hype surrounding it. I simply thought it was just some noob tool that anybody could pump out generic sounding midi music. Oh how I was wrong. FL Studio is constantly used around the world by professionals, rightly too. I had no compatability issues with it at all, it installed sweetly on both of my computers. The main setup is very simple, this program is really the simplest way to get straight into music production. All the pros start here, and some stay here too, purely because of familiarity. You can pump out hits from FL at any level.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

FL works and does exactly what it is meant to plus more. You would never have thought that songs such as Drop The World and any 9th wonder produced track were made with FL. Lex Luger is another producer notable for using FL. It performs admirably and doesnt really strain my CPU or RAM at all. I have been using it now for roughly 3 to 4 years and have only stopped for brief periods to try out other programs.

OVERALL OPINION

The piano roll is probably my favourite feature of FL. It's accessability is immense and allows anybody to create brilliant music at the click of buttons (see Lex Luger). Obviously a midi keyboard does help any ventures but it isn't really neccesary as you can use your PC keyboard. I am a huge fan of everything FL brings, it's simplicity is key. The mixer is superb and even the stock effect plugins that come with it are near to industry standard with some tweaking of the presets that come with them. My only quirp with FL would be stability. If you overload it it can crash without warning. FL also does not take any sort of backups, this is extremely annoying when you are working on your brand new super beat and it just crashes out of nowhere with no backup made. However this is rare so there is no worrys. Knowing what I know now, I would buy FL any day of the week as it is really a super DAW.
