I use it since 1994!
I like the "all in one", super pads, sensors super, super dynamic game, multi-zone pads, sampler option, easy to use, reliable (mine has more than 300 times and never flinch!), The PCMCIA cards!
the best compromise yet professional today!

I do not like giving up DDRUM by Clavia, and even then the benefit of the DD3 DD4 (which remained a joke compared to its predecessor), the software archive of Mac has never been finally, let alone update. C not serious at all MR CLAVIA! especially since it is a machine very popular with professionals!
when bought with gold all the options at the time (memory / option DAT / a MAC store), we are big on potatoes, that the beast is not over!
So galley on this point, fortunately PCMCIA save the setting (when it exists).
I like not the mono samples, and closed format; not import sounds from the PC or a Mac recently ...

I knew ADD ONE, the EMU and ADDTWO Procussions and some Simmons (SDSV / SDS7/SDX/SDS9/SDS8) before buying.
Apart from the SDX ADDTWO and nothing compares with the DD3 ...

The DDRUM3 is the most successful of all the drum machines, despite having been abandoned by current Clavia ... Still very close to the goal! It lacks very little.

Yes I would do this choice (and I keep it carefully), it's really the most serious and the most practical point of view Pro!
While I prefer the more upscale of SDX, it's still the best compromise from the world of electronic drums ...
