Simmons Drums introduces a new affordable electronic drum kit, the SD500, available for under $500.

With the SD500 electronic drum kit, Simmons debut a new pad series with features normally available on higher range models: dual zone for the snare pad and a Choke feature for the crash cymbal. Both hi-hats and kick pedals feature a grip surface and you’ll find in the sound module 352 sounds organized into 35 kits that cover all music genres (jazz, rock, pop…).

  • SD500 sound modules with 35 drum kits (25 factory and 10 user), 352 sounds, 60 Songs (50 presets and 10 user), 2 demo songs, sample player, round robins for the snare and ride samples, variable attack response, pad dynamic response, stereo TRS input for audio player, 8 Trigger inputs on single multi-pin connector and USB/MIDI connectivity
