I use it with the Game Boy Camera, which also has a small sequencer (the reason) and can control the sound synthesis of the machine (2xpulse/wav/noise).
For best results, opt for battery power on pain of buzz ...
I have used it in several albums already (as well as small electro sequences) and the sound fits quite naturally, the old chip really a particular grain (the square is stunning!).
