This is a subharmonic synthesizer of using digital technology, it gnre of infrabasses and handles low frequencies.
it has a 19-inch 1U of height.
connectors for both is among XLR or jack as well as two outputs, it also possde mono output jack and XLR sub in all these connections are both symmetrical qu'asym cudgel.
the order is divided into three parts, controls digital subharmonics processor, controls bass limiter and satellite controls that is well thought grace because this system is plugged into an amp the EX1200 for subwoofers and the other amps output a normal speakers that thanks to satellite commands one can impose the effects of subharmonic and outside.
USE
The use of the EX1200 is very simple to the few commands that make up the manual is almost useless
SOUND QUALITY
I connect the EX1200 between my master output 1 of my mixer and my amp, I am obliged to provide it in between an audio signal over 6dB for its output an audio signal 0db (not advise on some tables and push the vumtre), orders are of mediocre quality because a same order I do not even flexibility or the same hardness throughout his career, there is not a great precision of rglage, it flies all or nothing in effects, audio output I have the presence of a breath, when the limiter is on I have a snap in pregnant followed by a temporary low cut when the limiter limits too high signal (I do not use the limiter because the effect is unpleasant in the evenings, it is better reduce the volume of amps)
NOTICE GLOBAL
I bought it in December 2005 to use the EX1200 as an active filter in low for my 4 boxes, I have not had the opportunity to try something else.
- What I like is its simplicity and satellite control part because grace this event is to have little, with only one master on the mixing desk, a bass amps and amps with acute mdium rglage indpendant the volume.
- What I like least is:
* Puts a lot of vibration in operation
* Breath Introduced in audio output
* Snap in pregnant + temporary cuts bass when the limiter limits too high signal
* Mediocre quality of the controls
* Rglage little prcis therefore unconvincing
I hesitated with a simple equalizer that it would have allowed me a more rglage prcis in low if c'tait again I will take something other than behringer.
