Excellent
It is a psycho-acoustic processor type enhancer or other like Ultramizer BBE but more efficient! Analog (connections) and digital (treatment effect), input / output jack 6.35 and / or RCA, a rack unit 19 ".
UTILIZATION
The configuration is simple but often effective (as always with SPL!), The setting is rather thin but easy, even for beginners (very easy adjustment to the ear when no background knowledge!). the manual is in German and English only, but not really necessary given the simplicity of setting the beast ..!
SOUND QUALITY
Considering the price of nickel or OCCAZ I got (180 €), this model was the entry level of SPL Vitalizer, but effective when properly adjusted as its big brother the MK2 (I just bought of OCCAZ also recently for € 340, fortunately for my purse because in the € 550 NEW in general). Property that the possibilities of setting the Jack is more limited than the MK2 is an enhancer of quality and really effective at unbeatable price / quality ratio.
OVERALL OPINION
I used it for almost 2 years and I do not really was disappointed (SPL is a registered German really high end, so normal at first seen), I do because I used more invested in the model above (SPL Vitalizer MK2-), otherwise it would still be active in my home studio that's clear!
very good quality / price ratio, excellent even, given the equivalent models and / or maximum price competitive landscape, too bad SPL have stopped manufacturing (1 year ago and a half), it was top for small grants: 250 € nine at the time ..! With experience and the same stock at the time it is obvious that I would re-make the same choice! 200% ..!
