2014 is the 60th Anniversary of the Stratocaster guitar and for this big occasion, Fender has launched a website dedicated to the iconic instrument.
It was in 1954 when Fender first introduced the Stratocaster, a new electric guitar featuring a vibrato bridge and a Sunburst finish. This was the beginning of a golden era for the guitar which soon was adopted by both rock n’ roll and rock artists and amateurs, from Buddy Holly to Eric Clapton and the legendary Jimi Hendrix.
To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Fender Stratocaster, the brand invites you to discover a full retrospective of the history of the guitar, with videos and Spotify songs (you’ll need an account to listen to the songs).
Discover the dedicated website at www.fender.com/features/strat-60th/.
