Buy both for recording voice-overs in post-production video / film and monitor assembly. C'tait IDE interface to have a good quality (reputable manufacturer and read good reviews of it so far without having to buy a card too with I / O that does not help me.

1.25 Ghz G4 on with 1 GB RAM DDR 333 Mhz. A home Beyer M88 microphone in between and Yamaha NS-10M symtrique output via a Yamaha P2075 amp for monitoring.
As software, Final Cut Pro 5.0.4 with Soundtrack 1.2, but Audacity 1.3.3, Garageband 1.1 and Cubase LE 1.10 comes with the card.

My only complaint is the lack of Word Clock. But it's really relative. Not needing the IMMEDIATE, it is more for the sake of volutivit

UTILIZATION

Too much problem to install and then stability. Fvrier Purchased 2007, sold in June of the same round. This opinion is rdig in January 2008 and TC Electronic has not dvelopp stable drivers. Take users for beta testers is simply unacceptable. And even if the service online support offered by the manufacturer is quick and trs plutt friendly and everything, it all of the same russi not mask that this card is not running correctly on too many configurations (drops out is a word that I can add my vocabulary).

In my case, I could never run this card with Final Cut Who Planted systmatiquement (while c'tait prvue primary use for this purchase). The solution, turn the card in standalone mini jack in and out of my original internal sound card to get into the Konnekt!
If not, has turned a few prs of the software on his deficits above, but I often reinstall the drivers and test the new updates. Unsuccessful and often even galres to return to rear.
It seems to APRS TC electronic day that the implementation in Mac OS 10.4.11 (or 10.4.10) rsoud part of the problem. For my part I could not wait until things improve (up apple day in June or July 2007). Unfortunately it seems that the time given love me right.

A choice not to repeat as long as we do not boast the drivers of the brand. I will now likely to turn to RME, more expensive but stable, or the essential and effective Digidesign, with a subsequent AD / DA converter and an external pramp. So ended the ide solution Intgr miracle
