Rack Console with 8-channel adapter Rackmount Alesis home. Takes about 6U.
This adapter is quite hard to find, I was lucky he drags one at Thomann.

Input 4 Jack / XLR (phantom power) Mono + 2 Stereo Jack. RCA effects loop, headphone Jack 6.3. Sampling up to 96kHz 24bit.

OVERALL OPINION

It is used for 2 years now first under XP 32bit and now in Seven in 64bits.
The latency displayed in the ASIO driver is higher in Seven but we do not tell the difference with XP.

This is the first such model that we use. I've used a few consoles DJ.

What I like most is its price and features and perfect for my use in groups with electronic drums and guitarist / bassist / vocalist connected to it (with or without effects).
I have not found an equivalent except in name "couillondaye" pseudo Halleumandeuh who likes to copy others.

What I like least is that on some computers, the sound processor and hard drives can be heard with increasing sampling frequency. I think it comes from the USB ports on the motherboard that are poorly insulated, because these sounds exist only connecting the USB table.

With experience and more money in my pocket I would buy one less prone to noise and problems with the USB mass of PC.

Otherwise, it's an excellent compromise before moving on professional equipment.

UTILIZATION

Well suited to manual nophytes like me only in English (even the site of Alsis, damage)!
Configuration comfortable and classic, like all the mixers of this type.
No problem to install the drivers and Vista updates: hardware, functional well-recognized Cubase LE4 and Ableton lite that came with the table.

No <strong>64-bit drivers</strong> ... CORRECTION:

Yes the sound is ok for £99 bit of kit,and its built ok aswell but will it ever last a session??? no

I used this kit with Cubase, a brand new top notch laptop PC and ive used it on a mac the thing just crashs.

it sends the pc into mayhem with blue screens error messages and problems. and the mac it stays on, theres just suddenly loads of latency to start it crashing and then no input or output sound, you have to restart it.

it is very cheap maybe the cheapest on the market, but i would rather buy a more expensive and reliable bit of kit.

Lasted 1 month, very poor overall. the good aspects are hindered by the unreliability

would not touch one again. went on to a digidesign pro tools M-Box 2 not looked back.
