The Boss Noise Suppressor NS-2 ( http://www.musicpascher.com/boutique/images/BOSS/EFFETS/Boss_NS-2_M.jpg ) noise reduction: breath, noise, parasites etc ...
This "noise" is more or less strongly and is intrinsic to the material used (adding gain, connecting a number of pedals, connectors, power supply, equipment of questionable quality ...).
