I use these speakers for a little over a year, with bose amp 1800 series VI, the Panaray Digital Controller II and recently a box 502b (excellent, very good down low).

I had wharfedale EVPX15p (not the same price range, but less good qualitée sound very good value for Q / P)

do not rely on the figures announced on the characteristics, the results are really very different, but they need a good quality amp as MC2, QSC upscale (by the way MC2 Audio manufactures most of bose amp) and above PANARAY processor that is essential.
if you have listened with a low-end amplifier, the result will seem disappointing without the processor
it's not even bother ...

Briefly, the strengths: lightweight, easily transportable with the protective cover which possess a handle (I wear both at the same time without worry), cash out the watts, thanks to the wide dissemination 8 speakers, the sound is really very good distributed in the room, good sound quality (at this price it's normal ^ ^)

I also have two speakers wharfedale EVPX15. Good speakers in price / quality ratio. Wharfedale makes good products. Make their confidence. I use them with my bose they work very well and the sound is okay. (For that was to advertise for wharfedale ^ ^)

FOr the bose is true that they are expensive but there is no secret if you want quality you must pay the price. (FYI I have ever listened to Martin Audio. I prefer the bose just for transportation).

Yes I do it again this choice without pb! Sure it is expensive but the sound makes you shiver! I really encourage you to buy them! (It will save you but you'll go see what the real sound and see how you'll be glad you invested in a hardware pro!).

FYI: At each end of the evening people tell me that the sound was really on top! What people like in the evening it's a sound not loud at high volumes.

The performance of "d 12" is by far suprieur, both on quality than on the power (70 Hz instead of + / - 85Hz, 300 W instead of 240 W) and for a lower price ... (Difference of 500 euros per speaker plus there is no need for CPU + / 800 euros to make them work!). After reading the other post, I would say to disappointed 802-II/III they are unbeatable in this summer why they are designed: the AP outside in the rain (Public Address). I sometimes use these speakers in a room equipped with six 802 Boses III + 2 sub 502B, "pushed" by Yamaha P4500 amps and drive by a processor bose PANARAY. The room is about 20mx35m.
