I bought the set and sub Eliminator i or 2 top and 2 sub early 2005 (see website for ElectroVoice characteristics).
The material is very strong (very heavy) and is guaranteed for 5 years. I compared the different products before buying, but I have not tried. I paid the entire € 497 per speaker (total € 1,988) in Germany.
To connect (while Speakon) is the sub branch (input) and the ouput is taken from the top to the filter is in the sub (I understand, thank you doc in English!).
I use an amp as Inter-M CM 20.5 2x1100W is a friend of music pro who advised me that power and I did not regretted my choice.
The mixer is a Yamaha MG16/6FX.
For about € 3000 I set high performance I highly recommend, but I know that in choosing a sound system there are many subjective.
Group of five musicians, we made several evenings (with 200), and we had a very good margin of power, almost too since we are blamed that it was too hard. If you push a little low, trembling, that mind-blowing, the subwoofers are doing their birch.
When you spend a CD, you get the perfect sound that approaches the stereo, with all the nuances of the instruments. Very good stuff.
I give my opinion which I hope will help the one who hesitates in hardware as I did before buying. For more info please contact me.
If it again, I would do without hesitation, but at Thomann for less postage than Produktik Musik.
