UTILIZATION
Simple configuration ... you turn the knobs until it finds the sound for and presto:
- Volume: say anything
- Tone: not perfect but effective enough to draw sound
- Sustain: The range of the same distortion is fairly small (I can not make the difference between the knob halfway or background) but there is plenty to do.
The knobs are hard to turn what is really a good point, it will not change its perfect rglage by moving the pedals or walking around his foot over his pedalboard.
A small nanmoins default: the power plug is in the format mini-jack that is no longer current trs, forced to use a adptateur to power via a power supply 'garland.
SOUND QUALITY
This is indeed a fuzz (or rather a hybrid of fuzz and overdrive) so yes it's filthy from DEFINITIONS / draft and so we lose frquences but it is the the charm of a fuzz! Try before you buy impractical (I conois perfectly pedals that can not appeal).
Like almost everywhere else, according to the guitar sound is variable, I use it with an EMG 85/60 esp climbs and a strat us (microphones so simple), the whole branch in Peavey Classic 50 (all lamps) .
- Esp With the pedals alone is not enough and too much fuzz overdrive my taste, but uses a lightweight overdrive downstream (H & K tube factor in my case) the sound is glove! A well cradingue (but not too), this little fawn's "dcrochage Velcro" every big shot mdiator ... your exact solo is terrible.
- With this strat diffrent, the sound is too clump when I muff the couple with the tube factor but only uses your exact trs is convincing. You can really do to Hendrix, Jack White, Frusciante and Gilmour (with a small delay found a really dirty dlicieusement solo "time") to name a few ...
You can also put a clean boost upstream to gain power in his try.
OVERALL OPINION
I put 9 / 10 the pedals because it is good but not perfect sr Fuzz makes a good trs his office. The ratio quality price is right no more but this is not the ruin.
