UTILIZATION
There is no simple, one volume knob and a knob for gain. As an EQ, a 3-position switch determines the character of mid scoop, only option for an equalizer.
The manual is superfluous.
The sound editing could not be easier.
SOUND QUALITY
The EHX Metal Muff Distortion signed a distortion with a big personality, which sounds very organic and relatively warm, even at high gain. The sound at low gain, approaching an overdrive pushed to its entrenchment is very catchy. We have a good running efficiency of gain knob, except on the last third where one is already in too big of her to have some significant differences.
We really regret the absence of potential equalization is really missing a distortion of this quality and mid scoop is in my opinion not decisive or effective, you lose the whole aspect furious big disto burnée and well in the activating a switch short little use.
OVERALL OPINION
I used it for a while and have tried many other models.
What I like about her is simply the sound! This is the best feature of this pedal.
The price / quality ratio is excellent, as often with EHX.
I just love his sound I offered myself for the MetalMuff standard features that I missed on this one but keep this particular sound, and too bad for the position it takes on board my little ...
