We are in a good old prsence disto, made in US (a confidence-inspiring) with:
-A gain knob
One-volume
A mini-switch three positions "scoop"
This one has a gain lev against his sisters, hence its name.
It's hard-analog (transo), so no gadgets like a computer or MIDI branchementsur chpakoua, no no, one branch is pressed, a sound, and it's good!
The small size allows it to carry in his bag in his amp (combo open) or maybe even a guitar in its cover (the cover adpend). Despite a, in the case mtal provides some robustness, no doubt it's solid!
UTILIZATION
For me winning is the bottom but still not a standard diffrence, I think the gain knob is not very useful. By bah against the volume is essential for Galise with the distortion of my apli I use to the rhythm (I used the pedals for solos).
As against the low and high positions of the civil scoop lose volume over the off position impossible to move directly from one another we must change the volume.
Another thing, to change the battery (adapter not provided) must dvisser 4 screws, which is not practical.
Not really man.
SOUND QUALITY
The gain knob is always in my bottom but it is workable, I think we can broaden the number of styles playable.
The function is really quite a scoop it was really his three Different.
In the off position was sound rich mdium, with whom I make my solos, a really good spring mix is excellent!
High position was a sound rich in treble a bit in the intro Pantera Cowboys from hell. Not bad but I use it as a group.
Low bah position and it's a little between the two, I use it a lot, but the sound is excellent too (just indfinissable, shall we say)
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for two months, in groups (RPET and live) and in my room.
The most: the sound-
But solid-transportable
-Made in NY, united states: D
Cons:-no adapter
-Battery replacement impractical
-Difference in volume between the positions scoop
I have not tried many models, just a distortion of a multi purpose boss, and my distos DIFFERENT amps (Marshall, Hughes & Kettner). It's wonderfully complete distortion of my Valvestate.
The ratio quality price, bah for less than 60 was frankly worth it!
With the exprience and putting a few dollars more I can be taken the big sister, micro metal muff, but I wanted to take a portable disto on holiday ^ ^. I will try can be the metal muff, more complete version, we'll see. For now the nano is fine with me!
