Analog and completely with a buffer instead of a bypass. You can think whatever you want of a buffer but there must confess that Pete Cornish knows how to do.
UTILIZATION
No need for manual, branch we play ...
3 knobs, volume, tone, sustain ...
SOUND QUALITY
This is where the magic happens ... I will not say what kind of up there and then frankly we do not care a bit ... especially since Mr Cornish has striven to hide the pcb with an opaque film.
The only thing I can say is that I open, I like to see what is in the pedals. Quality of manufacture flawless, everything is handmade. wiring, welding and assembly. I'm not electronics but I hack suffisement to recognize welding Handmade another machine made ....
This pedal is good all for distortion. fuzzy grain brings something that many others do not is no amp would again ... For all we love this kind of sound ...

Impeccable build quality. Components excelente qualities. Especially when we know for example that the use of germanium diodes application work in amon pairing if the pedals do not sound all the same way, the result would often means ... and it would soon be a mess! !
In short, in my opinion yes it is expensive and my ears and my eyes yes it is justified. We pay good brand but it is like that .... Then again if it was the only one could blame him .... but hey Apple, Audi ..... etc. ....
