> Installation nickel: selection of plug-in directories and so on. 15 min and for Life!
> No incompatibility with my setup: soundcard recognized MIDI devices as well.
> The choice of latency and global options and simple, the (h ² 0) activation is carefree with the key provided by Ableton. ° °
> I have not read the manual, but I took an afternoon to all the lessons offered, which allowed me to immediately understand the logic of the log: + + boring, but useful
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
SETUP:
MSI 270 Laptop
Proc 1.8 Ghz
1024 RAM
HDD 80 GB 7200T / m
Sound Card Motherboard = (ASIO not supported!)
Good stability (some cracking when too many plug-ins running Ableton but intelligently manages the situation through a temporary file retrieval)
6 lines with well-laden MIDI VST (ie 6 lines Kontakt II) it turns to the limit
> Operation proportional to the config: more RAM you got, the less it oar
OVERALL OPINION
> I use it for 3 months now and it's really a very good log
> The interface is clear, I like the management as a result of effects added to a track like this at least we understand routing.
> I tried to start Reason and Cubase and Sonar and Fruity Loops and Ableton log I found that I like:
it is clear, do you know where to play on a particular point (which is in Cubase to enlightenment), and it rocks creativity;]
> I highly recommend THIS LOG FOR BEGINNERS.
Thanks to him, I understood almost everything in the process of composing a song, How does the South, the programming of the pots to control the VSTi, mastering, in short I understood the whole of the critical points in the composition of modern .
And now, I gently put to Logic and Cubase and I finally understand routing, bus, and how to adapt these "big" log in my own way of dealing: it is essential I think.
But we must admit that the clarity of the Ableton Live interface greatly benefit from his concurrents.Bref is the log that opens up everything else sequencers masters. Huge for the training and understanding of computer music.
> For me it is the sequencer of the future. Not too CPU-intensive, excellent management VSTi (RAM control screen CHANNELS associated with the plug-in on which one can make MIDI mapping, it greatly facilitates automation, which is accessible from a simple click), good sound reproduction when exporting.
> As for the live, I do not use this feature ... but my method of composition is very intuitive, is that why Live sûrment suits me very well in my creative process.
> That it's all good must go, and strongly on 6, with a mapping can be full VSTi (but that also depends on good VSTi then it's a little mess) to avoid the complicated programming of the CC, mastering presets pro, but it's really good on the voice!
Keep Living!
