Bitwig Studio 1.3 Release Candidate is Available
One week only after releasing v1.2, Bitwig already announces the first release candidate of Bitwig Studio 1.3.
A few hours ago Microsoft announced the Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book products, and Bitwig times its Bitwig Studio 1.3 release with these all new technologies. Bitwig Studio and Bitwig 8-Track 1.3 feature multi-touch and tablet capabilities, with a dedicated display profile developed specifically for Surface Pro with touch and pen input. The company has worked with Microsoft on this project, and Bitwig Studio is flashing by in Microsoft's latest marketing videos.
Bitwig also put together a number of videos to show Bitwig Studio used on a Surface Pro, including a marketing video and tutorial videos showing the new tablet display profile, and touch input methods.These videos as well as additional info are available on Bitwig's brand new 1.3 page.
