SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
Win7 64bit. Pork intelG 3.2GHz, 8GB of Ram.
Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 card + Octo MkII in adat.
A CPU load / exceptionnelement low memory on greedy projects on track and VST plug. Did catch with 14 tracks in Simultaneous rec. No stalling, no slowdown, no crash!
OVERALL OPINION
User from the exit of the V4.
I tested all daw PRO24 since Atari (that is, !!).
Pros: everything is great in this app and especially the quality of the audio engine, plus a pricing and profitability focused on R & D and not on marketing. You buy an app at a reasonable price because the publisher does not sell you its expenditures com, packaging, etc ... you buy the fruit quality developments.
Less? may be the lack of editor partoches, though that's not really the job of a DAW in my opinion, but good.
If Reaper continues to exist in its current form, I do not change it for anything in the world.
