Well let's be clear, we are far from Cubase ...
But it works great even on small configs.
Installing child windows.
Linux it requires a prior configuration of the MIDI interface. Which may fall into the puzzle.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
The recording "live" or note to note are smooth.
It can generate arpeggios and melodies, can grind the addr and other parameters.
I've never seen crashes.
Just one display bug sometimes it has a slight tendency to "lose" the limits of the horizontal scrollbar. Is solved by recording the song, then quit and reload the program.
Nice bonus: the launch it automatically reloads the last recorded song. Simple, but delightful.
It has a possibility of audio tracks but I have not explored.
OVERALL OPINION
By far the best freeware I've found to date in terms of power, stability as ergonomics. No need to rack their brains to understand the logic of the program.
