The software suite installs in five minutes. No problem for the configuration of audio and MIDI devices.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

I have not tested everything, but on my two PC Music Studio seems to run perfectly.

Fixed Config: Athlon XP1800 +, 512MB RAM, 20GB HD, RME Fireface 800
Setup portable: PIV 3.06 GHz, 768 MB RAM, 60GB HDD, FF800, Edirol UA-25, Evolution MK-425c

Plugins instruments look perfectly fine, sound cards are accepted without concern. For now it is moving. Perhaps an EDIT after my first demo recorded with Audio Studio ...

OVERALL OPINION

I received this package yesterday, with all possible concerns. I know very well Samplitude six years, and I'm quite happy to find in all functions Audio Studio that I usually use. It is very nearly Samplitude v7.20, with improvements in recent versions and unreleased items (Elastic Audio, great synths / drum machines and effects included). I hope that the limitation of 16-track mono recording will not be too awkward for my use of this software (recording demos and live).

MIDI Studio is very ugly but functional, and the small sampler can make well-integrated services to launch jingles, for example. Separate MIDI software is anyway better than the built-in MIDI part to Samplitude.

I put 9 for all the good surprises brought by this software.
