With the v2.6.2 update, PreSonus adds to Studio the ability to receive add-ons, which are program extensions, soundsets or plug-ins designed exclusively for the DAW (like Reason and its Rack Extensions). These add-ons will be available for direct purchase at the PreSonus online store.
PreSonus will debut with the three following add-ons:
Ampire XT Metal Pack is an extension for the Ampire XT effect plug-in to which it adds 6 new amp models and 6 cabs for metal guitarists as well as a metal drum kit for the Impact virtual drum. Price: $29.99.
Goldbaby Essentials is a sound pack for the Impact drums and features 500 vintage analog and digital drum machine sounds, as well as beatbox samples, all cooked by sound designer Goldbaby. You’ll also find 32 drum kit presets and 124 music loops. Price: $29.99
MP3 Converter is designed for MP3 encoding and decoding in Studio One Artist. Price: $9.99
The v2.6.2 update also fixes many bugs. It is free for registered users of Studio One 2.
