Tracktion v5.3 mainly focuses on workflow enhancements and therefore offers new tools.
You can now discover a new Super Comping feature that gives you the ability to use the Comp tool to merge MIDI clips and audio clips. It is also possible to select unrelated clips and convert them into single files for an quicker edit and comp.
Also new in this update is the ability to convert MIDI notes and clips into audio clips.
Tracktion v5.3 includes a new plug-in browser located in the lateral bar of the main windows (Edit). You can use it to search and tag plug-ins and drag & drop them directly to the tracks.
MIDI performance was also improved, with automation of gesture and inflexions for individual notes. The developers also added multichannel MIDI clip support and polyphonic aftertouch.
