can anybody tell me where to start with my home studio what equipment i will need to record vocals,instruments (drums etc...) etc...,
what should i get first? mixer monitor speakers, mics?? for the first order i have £700 to spend
i allready have a computer, but i really do not want to use one of these, interfaces i wanna use a mixing desk or whater to record

Ah really big question.
Here's a short answer. Sit down with a piece of paper and write down everything you want to be able to record. And dream big because if you buy a 10 track recorder than that's what you're gonna get. You can't pay to add cheese, you can't pay to add another track you buy a whole new machine or unplug something.
Do you have a pc? If so then your limited to the amount of inputs to your mixer/ interface. And so on.
Jump on youtube and have a look at home recording.....
