so i reinstalled pro tools fixed one prob but.....

Now i can get into pro tools but all the audio from previous sessions has been turned into transfer only and i cant seem to get it to change to p or r(record or playback) in the audio window....it also tells me if i choose a destination to sacve volume changes it will change them automatically but no matter where i try it tells me macintoshhd is not a volume setting...no duh..what am i doing wrong
