I have a mixer connected to my sound card. Windows recorder works fine so I know audio path is good.
I am new with FL Studio 5 software. Can I directly stream audio Into FL5 mixer or do I have touse a wave file?
The instruction mention a ASIO driver. I have and AC97 complient sound card which is working very well.

I hope this is easy and its something I have just over looked.

FL5 and Korg MIDI microKontroL work perfect. Gosh I can play and record myself evertthing.

Now I need vocals.

i had this problem but hav managed to work it out, if u left click on your sample on the patten sequencer it brings up a channel settin box, it has the precomputed effects and time stretching on it. wel in the top right hand corner of the box there is a dial which has FX written under it. set the dial to 1 and that wil put that sample into channel 1 on the mixer. you can then add compression and fx to that sample. you can put more than one sample into any channel on the mixer or you can use seperate channels for each individual sample.
