Hi,
I want to get the Edirol MA-10D or MA-20D (is doubling the power worth the doubled price?) and the have optical inputs. If a sound card like any of those Sound Blaster Audigy with the I/O hub have S/PDIF output or interface like M-Audio Firewire Solo with the optical output would do. What i want to know is, is optical I/O = S/PDIF I/O?
some writes S/PDIF, others just write optical.
I notice on the interface side, the digital connector is round, and on the speaker side, the digital jack is square, so it got me confused with TOSLINK optical cables.
