The KME-56 is a multi-graphic equalizer into a rack unit 19 "(weight 3.9 kg).
It includes:
-4 Modules mono 5-band 250-500-1K-2K-4KHz
-1 Unit stereo 7-band: 125-250-500-1K-2K-4K-8KHz
Connection: in / out jack 6.35 for each module.
Switch Gain Adjustment: -10dB/-35dB
Integrated. Supply
UTILIZATION
The manual is clear, but clearly useless ...
Each module has an active / bypass button coupled with an LED to indicate its status. The power switch on the front is not a by-pass: when the KME-56 is off, no signal comes out.
SOUND QUALITY
I used to tie my analos my synths and drum machines. It complements the EQ of my console (80, 150> 1.5 K, 12KHz).
I found no breath.
OVERALL OPINION
This product is no longer manufactured for a long time, but I could never find a used (new old stock). I have not really found an equivalent to the KME-56, except perhaps Furman Q-541 (4x5 band stereo). Small and efficient, I could not expect more for the price.
