View the previous opinion. Meisner is the SPR with the 231 phase inverter.

UTILIZATION

A dual channel graphic EQ 31 bands (20 - 20kHz + / - 15 dB), shelving bass / treble adjustment (16 - 160 and 2.5 kHz - 25 kHz) to + / - 8 dB. Gate and limiter, low cut, high cut (16 - 160 and 3 kHz - 32 kHz). Each section to its on / off switch per channel (Figure - shelving - dynamic)
Very comprehensive for a machine on 3 U

SOUND QUALITY

It is undoubtedly his forte! I used it for many years as EQ sound front, very powerful and accurate. Now, for 1 years, I have one that is out of the mix on any console.

OVERALL OPINION

What I like most is the sound of the machine, very precise, very musical, not aggressive, it can really do what we want. Eq a premium, with the potato. (Nothing to do with DBX or BSS Opal low end, and exit directly Berhinger and company.)
The direct competitor is the DN360 Klark Tecnik, more powerful correction (+ / - 18 db) but much less complete. The Klark its place live on stage for returns, the SCV to its place in studio operations finer and more complete.

What I love is the shelving at 32 kHz ... it gives the air, it brought out the sweetness but with the Harmonic Analog ... it is happiness .. P'ti and then a blow to 40 hz and then explodes down .. The filters are perfect for preparing your premaster (cut to 30 Hz) and limiter (although I do not use it in the studio) is perfect for live mixer nag too. The gate is fine with me, sweet release and slow attack, very well getting out of the mix.

Personally, a copy EQ, very known in France (supremacy of Klark live). A very nice tool for all lovers of sound.

I use the following string: output mix analog Soundcraft DC2020 - EQ SCV - Focusrite Liquid Channel Pair of used compressor / A / D converter end - record on DAW mix. And it works as hell the day I have a little money, I converted before the Liquid Channel (with Weiss for example) and uses emulation preamp in addition to digital compressor SC before the record ... Yum, just thinking about it ...

AN EQ TO HAVE IN HER RACK!!
