Its relatively close to the Electro-Harmonix 12AX7 with a little less gain.
Very good balance bass / mid / treble.
Moderate gain compared to the JJ / Tesla and tung ground.
Few have a very good report on the floors clean, although I prefer the Electro-Harmonix is more colorful, but my taste above the lamp is made to be phase inverting amplifier of the push / pull, my amp are equipped in this position.
A lamp with the least I could breath test, never had to preoblemes microphones.
Sovtek 12AX7 Unlike the WA and WB, the LPS is a very good light that I particularly recommend the lover of clean (V1 or V2) or for heavy distortion, which seeks to remain well dynamic (reversed phase).
