Published on 05/03/13 at 08:26Here is a very good light. She met me fully on my Hot Rod Deluxe until I unearthed after many tests, my trio reference in Groove Tube (see my gear). Moreover, there is a good chance that Groove Tube lamps fitted to the old original HRD are actually Sovtek 12AX7WA rebadgées after being sorted and matched.
The sound given by the lamp is full, rather fat while remaining defined drive, with beautiful clear treble and midrange put enough forward. Given its low price (or Euroguitar Thomann sell it really cheap), it really worth it to try to replace on any amp.
