Analog Chorus pedal.

In an input, an output Out. Connectors jacks look very solid, the stompswitch a little less ... a first glance at least!

Controls Depth (depth), Rate (speed) and Level (which mixes the processed sound to sound unaffected by the chorus). Note that these three controls are most effective!

Some miss a stereo output, I personally suits me very well of mono!

9 v supply standard format very similar to the classic Boss: that Jacques will be easy to place and connect it to a pedalboard!

UTILIZATION

Configuration is very simple, and edit sounds very interesting to do, because the various controls seem interactive!

The switch is very sensitive: some find it boring, I find it very convenient: no need to go like a brute to activate / deactivate the effect.

SOUND QUALITY

Then it is nirvana. The quality is well, the chorus is super transparent yet very warm. I use it with a guitar, and all the sounds of Andy Summers, Prince, or the Pretenders are ... The pedal is very versatile, and I repeat, the efficiency and accuracy checks are bluffing!

From as many as the Pop Hard Rock 80's, I've always loved color my clean sounds with chorus, and the fact that it was great. However, the first chorus I meet who do not eat saturated sound: a real treat!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for the past three days, but it was already a few weeks now that I tried in various stores. I owned a Boss Chorus Ensemble CE-5 (very good memory), an Ibanez CS-9 (very bad memory!) And tried the Micro Chorus Mxr, Black Label Chorus of the same brand, the Tc Electronic (excellent but too expensive), the Electro Harmonix Small Clone, flangers or different vibes ...

My choice fell on the Jacques Meistersinger at excellent value for money and unparalleled transparency. In addition, the signal / noise ratio is quite acceptable for analog. I intend to keep it a while, because I could not find anything comparable in terms of Chorus on the entire market, the quality of this pedal has also encouraged me to try other product from Jacques, this gentleman is clearly very competent!

I would do so this choice!

UTILIZATION

So I bought two days ago by going directly to the store with Jacques. This is a funny guy. We gossiped for go, 1 hour. I got the total: demonstration of different pedals, montrage ongoing projects (you will be surprised in the weeks and months to come: personal, I'm already on the list control a future foot ). In short, a very great moment, a living encyclopedia of effects (I admit I was dropped fairly quickly also lol)
Good surprise: if you buy at home, you may have an impact on the price of its pedals well below the price you find in stores , but I say no more.
So the choice in these conditions would soon be rebuilt, especially since I've tried a bunch of chorus, although I have not tried the chorus Reference: MXR, TC Electronic and Boss CE1. Nevertheless, qualitatively the chorus explodes general public without any problems (for a few euros more than nine CE5, this is an indication of the price apporximative ). But beware, this pedal has a very big personality, like any other for that matter, and may not fit all. 10 for a hand, no problem. I use it for 5 months. The sound made is beautiful, but fo not send too much, which is done all got personal. The pedals are a bit expensive even when, but hey, c a choice I do it again without hsiter.

This is my deuxime Jacques, I have for 3 years now. Exar is a r-produced in Poland stampille, intoxication around the product is very well done ... eh
I made the decision 9v amricaine version, as my blower tube, top practice.
PDAL mono with a super rglage: dry mix / effect. It does not look like much but makes a lot.

UTILIZATION

Trs simple chorus and is the only test that allows a channel to attack triggers saturated pedals! Thanks to the mix, which gives the possibility to send a large part of the original signal, really great when we forget to dclencher chorus when solo, feels the VCU has!
Trs good chorus, hotter than the tc but prcis trs / musical at the same time.
No switching noise, and very transparent bypass of thumb.

SOUND QUALITY

Further to my various tests, I managed to three types of sound:
- Light and captivating: the one I use
- Over one falls into this sounds a bit cartoonish year 80 '... (Me I like it)
- Chorus led: good vibration and dissonant sound (which is normal) but quite limited compared to the best chorus.

The sound is very nice but I would love to push a little further this chorus for space and presence in the sounds most airlines.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had it 2 months and I already use on each piece that I am unlike many pedals that I have already sold.

I use this pedal to boost my arpeggio passages or sometimes solo. I do not intend to part with it anytime soon.

I bought this secondhand chorus in very good condition besides the harbinger of its strength. I am based on the opinions of Audiofanzine and Harmony Central. To say that I would do what choice I would first try another chorus to really compare.
