Published on 09/01/11 at 14:23Well, my CS100 for ages and I quite like, especially for a driver set to marshall crunch.
As against this in clean CS100 saturates all the time, it's rough.
Like the rest is nice (curve compression, EQ) I thought that the CS400 was to be improved without affecting the main features of the CS100, and that's the case.
Indeed analog battery or power supply, good noise bypass, led to two miles without visible fog.
UTILIZATION
Very nice to handle, do not have to pump the equalizer allows a nice crisp treble, or jazzifier everything.
Good level of output available, especially clean.
The attack left many slam Max TV (just in case!).
In short a lot of fun to experiment, everything is possible in fact.
SOUND QUALITY
It's clean, clear and precise, compared to many other pedals that I have this comp CS400 highlights the guitar much better, like having a cable rather than a super rotten. It's really obvious.
No saturation of the attacks, not cold either, not an approximation, it is a treat to clean a guitar a bit messy (RG7 such a clean sound), a beautiful dynamic.
I like short, especially at the rate ...
OVERALL OPINION
In tandem after the WD300 brand is sumptuous, the CS400 is changing the wd-channel lead soloist for the total price is ridiculous as it sounds good.
And not just two watts at home, on an all-aluminum pti gallien siouplé the cleat! It's been a nice volume and two Bebert do not produce noise-noise blast as far as we use good power supplies. With a switching power supply that makes strange noises, like a hissing modulated normal I would say.
In the clean is great, we win in the presence and intelligibility, without putting stronger than bypass.
Okay, I have the tc nova dynamics which may be over but it's not that guitar amp caught. In addition, the time to understand how it works and repeat it went, I prefer the simplicity of the CS400 (plus I remember how it works from one time to another, the nova not ...).
This is a must in my mess ...
