The CS3 is a compressor with four rglages: level, tone, attack and sustain. It can be battery powered and AC adapter. The case is solid and compact. Attention, with some power supply, it produces a trslgre distorition.
UTILIZATION
There are few buttons, but it is true that it is difficult to find a really nice sound without tampering with the knobs a good time. I got it used, I do not know the manual, but it should not be necessary.
SOUND QUALITY
I use this amp with modeling lamps and, guitars and various single and double coils. Must be assayed attack and sustain with caution, failing to have its synthetic trs. OVERALL OPINION
I use it for six years. J'apprcie compression rate strong enough, but I regret the breath. I Line 6 possde a constrictor, which is more versatile, gives more natural sound and a noise gate possde trs is effective. It is unfortunately a little more than CHRE CS3. Boss should modernize the MODEL (the addition of a noise gate would not hurt). DEFINITIONS in, it colors the sound great, which is not INTERESTED in you love the type of sound it offers. It is therefore essential to try before you buy. Trs type, it will not fit everyone.
